Joined Up Information

We use information all of the time in regeneration. For example:

We gather statistics about the communities we work with

We ask service users for lots of information

We regularly gather information to review the impact of our activities.

This information helps us to understand who accesses our services, and to provide the services that people need.

Why join up information?

Often, lots of different organisations gather and analyse the same information. This can create lots of extra work for staff. And it means service users are constantly asked for the same information too – which can be very frustrating!

Sharing information can save time and effort. It can help you to understand your service users better. And it can improve the services you provide.
